Biography

Deloris Hervey is the founder and creative force behind DD’s Showbiz, a production company officially established in 2020 after years of operating under different names since 2012. As a writer, director, producer, and acting coach, Deloris has built a career dedicated to telling meaningful stories while nurturing new and emerging talent. She has written and produced six stage plays, several short films, and her first feature film, Wrath of a Broken Man, currently in post-production. Through DD’s Showbiz, she continues to create projects that blend artistry with purpose, using storytelling as a tool for healing, empowerment, and community connection. In addition to her work in production, Deloris founded Youth Acting Corner, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides children with immersive theater and film experiences, and created The Unofficial Therapist, a platform supporting mental health in the entertainment industry. With over a decade of experience in the arts and entertainment, she has become a trusted voice known for her vision, creativity, and heart for people.
